Dengeki PlayStation have teased the contents of their Cyber Dimension Online exclusive preview. This is for the latest game in the Hyperdimension Neptunia series, which is most likely a spin-off.
It reveals that the game is an action RPG and set in a video game world (not the fourth wall breaking reference). There will be changes within the series that fans may not be used to, such as the changes in clothing by the main characters and the weapons used by the party. There will also be an exclusive interview with members of the development team. Likewise, if you are in Japan, there is also the opportunity to enter a contest if you are a subscriber of Dengeki. They also included the two images included in this article.
Here is the translation (thaks to our own Will Whitehurst).
The front cover of Dengeki PlayStation Vol. 612 (on sale April 14) is the Neptune series’ new game, Four Goddesses Online. This report is loaded with new visuals of the four goddesses featured in Four Goddesses Online, as well as comments from illustrator Tsunako.
The logo for Four Goddesses Online. Notice how the English lettering changed to Cyber Dimension Neptune!
Four Goddesses Online is a game that goes deep into the veil of the Neptune series. This game also takes place within the world of a video game. The magazine feature will make this game’s concept of the action RPG genre more clear.
A special reveal of the front cover illustration from Dengeki PlayStation Vol. 612! The brain wave controller design has changed too, hasn’t it…!?
And, this time new clothing design images have been revealed as well. The Neptune series’ continuing editors upped the tension to maximum, and they really want to express the feeling of these new visuals in the magazine.
The weapons equipped by the game’s characters have also suddenly changed, but who’s that character using a rapier…?
Also, there is an interview with Neptune series executive producer Takahisa Kochiwa, producer Shoko Mizuno, and illustrator Tsunako. This interview will detail what kind of game Four Goddesses Online has turned into, so by all means, we want you to check it.
Finally, the magazine will include a contest to win a signed copy of Tsunako’s artbook, Tsunako Artbook -Conserves-. Forms for the contest will only be included with subscription copies of the magazine, so please subscribe soon!
