Viz Media has some great manga coming soon. Those of you who like manga like Gyo and Uzumaki will be excited to know that Viz Media will be releasing Junji Ito’s Tomie. The publisher also has a couple other surprises for you below:
VIZ Media has more exciting manga debut announcements, straight from the company’s Anime Boston panel this past weekend! Coming this fall & winter will be a deluxe hardcover complete edition of the bone-chilling TOMIE, the print debut of Tsugumi Obha and Takeshi Obata’s latest manga PLATINUM END, the hardcover debut of the next arc of the multi-generational JOJO’S BIZARRE ADVENTURE PART 3 – STARDUST CRUSADERS, and finally the next box set edition of the hit ONE PIECE!
- TOMIE: COMPLETE DELUXE EDITION collects Junji Ito’s entire debut series, and the handsome hardcover will receive the same treatment to match VIZ Media’s GYO and UZUMAKI deluxe editions! The master of horror counts Lovecraft and Umezu as his influences, and this eerie collection (after being out of print for many years) following femme fatale Tomie will give fans spine tingling chills for many nights to come!
- PLATINUM END, the latest from the team behind DEATH NOTE and BAKUMAN, will make its print debut this fall (currently serialized chapter-by-chapter on VIZManga.com)! As his classmates celebrate their middle school graduation, the troubled Mirai is mired in darkness. A fateful meeting with an angel gives him hope from salvation, and now he’s pitted against 12 other chosen humans where the winner becomes the next god of the world!
