Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Child of Light. This one highlights the game’s co-op mechanics. Take a look.
In Child of Light, you play as princess Aurora who has taken it upon herself to restore the light to the world. The Dark Queen has stolen the three sources of light: the sun, the moon and the stars, and taken them to the fantastical realm of Lemuria. There, Aurora must confront her to return the light and herself to her home.
Along the way she’ll meet Igniculus the firefly. That’s the blue flame that we see flitting about the screen in the trailer above. A second player can take control of Igniculus and help out Aurora on her journey. It can stun enemies, reveal hidden passages, brighten dark areas, and even heal Aurora when she’s taken damage.
Child of Light will be available for download on April 30th for every current home console under the sun (PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U) and PCs as well.
