Ecchi RPG Genkai Tokki: Seven Pirates has been dated for launch in Japan on August 4th, among other details revealed in this week’s Dengeki PlayStation. The game will be available in retail and digital forms, with 7,344 yen for the physical copy and 6,480 yen for a download copy. Also available will be a limited edition for 9,504 yen. The ocntents of the limited edition have not yet been disclosed, though this writer would wager a booklet and a drama CD.

The voice cast for the characters already confirmed have also been revealed (VO’s name in brackets).

Parute Kairi (Shizuka Ishigami)
Rindo (Mariko Honda)
Sakyura (Madoka Yonezawa)
Waffle (Sumire Uesaka)
Jewel (Kana Asumi)
Poron (Chinami Hashimoto)
Claret (MAO)

Additionally, new characters have also been revealed (VO’s name in brackets).

Mimii (Natsumi Takamori) – A mimic monster girl carrying hidden treasure.
Neko (Kaoru Sakura) – Like the name suggest, she is a cat ear monster girl.
Riviera (Kana Yuuki) – A monster girl aiming at Parute and company.
Garnet (Hisako Tojo) – A glasses-wearing monster girl who protects the ruins.
Doroa (Megumi Toda) – A monster girl who attacks those who enter the unexplored.

Genkai Tokki: Seven Pirates is one of my most anticipated games for Japanese release in 2016, and I will be importing the title upon it’s Japanese launch on August 4th.

I like it when games hit the market shortly after the announcement. I really hope that this one gets an Asia release.

Interesting that the digital version is cheaper than the physical one in Japan. It seems that platform holders don’t have the same relationship with retailers as in the West.

Where the hell is the Asia region release for Moero Crystal???

It’s actually Sony Asia that is doing the translations for that. It is coming, but when is the question. I am waiting as well
