CREST Inc. and Studio HG sci-fi rogue-lite Metallic Child has released on both Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. This action packed adventure has Rona, an adorable android, trying to save the space station Life Stream. The game has a launch week discount making it a great value at $22.49 on Steam and $23.99 on Switch.

Here are some of the key features:

Battling through 11 Unique Stages and Rebellious Android Bosses

– Battle through 11 unique space age stages and to battle it out with each stage’s dangerous Android leader in Rona’s quest to defend the space laboratory. Players can tackle the stages in any order they want employing their own strategic approach to victory.

Multiple Weapons and nearly limitless customizations

– Equip the speedy gauntlets, balanced sword and shield or powerful hammer to start, each with its own unique move sets for players to master. Along the way, power up weapons and collect specialized ability power cores to further customize playstyles throughout the journey.

Collect Chips and Complete Challenges to Power up and Unlock Cool Extras!

– Along each run, Rona will collect computer chips that can be used to permanently power up Rona’s skills to help complete each run. Additionally, completing challenges will net more rewards to help unlock cool skins, fan art and recording that provide more backstory to the adventure!

I will have a review for this title out on Monday, and not to spoil anything but I think people are going to be really surprised at this one.
