The highly stylized 3D runner, Aerial_Knight’s Never Yield, now has a release date. Headup Games has announced that it will be coming to PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox X | S, and PlayStation 5 a bit later this spring on May 19th, 2021. In the meantime you can follow the game on Discord to stay up-to-date until its launch.

Players will Run, jump, and slide their way around a “futuristic Tokyo-styled Detroit”. You take on the roll of a mysterious kid named Wally, as he tries to save the remains of this world. As you progress through this adventure, the bopping soundtrack composed by Detroit artist “Danime-Sama” will accompany you all the while.

Wally will need to acquire some items from his past, while making sure he stays fast enough to stay ahead of his enemies. Will he be able to uncover the truth and save what’s left of the world?

Developer Aerial_Knight commented about the game’s development in the press release, saying:

“The game is currently in development by basically just myself with a lot of help from some of my amazing friends when I need it. This is a passion project of mine and I hope you all enjoy it when it’s out.”

Aerial_Knight’s Never Yield is a 3D side-scrolling game, where the gameplay is akin to a classic endless runner. The game has many acrobatic variants and combos for players to utilize as they traverse the obstacles in each level. It is designed with speed runners in mind, but also aims to allow a more casual audience to enjoy it, too.

About Michael Fontanini

Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general).

I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
