HEROIC EPISODE

HEROIC EPISODE

Hamster Co. has announced in a new press release that HEROIC EPISODE has now joined the Arcade Archive collection of retro games on both the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 platforms. HEROIC EPISODE is a shooting game that was originally released by IREM way back in 1986, making this game almost as old as I am. According to their press release, the game is available for download as of yesterday on both the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 platforms for $7.99.

The people of Mule are in despair and facing their own destruction as the GASP Empire tries to crush them. Players take on the role of a heroic soldier, as he wages battles on land and in the sky in his quest to take back the stolen goddess statue.

Players can compete with others all over the world in a battle for the best high scores. As with other entries in both the Arcade Archives and ACA NEOGEO retro game collections, players can also recreate the feel of the arcade displays these games were originally played on. They can also change the game difficulty, and play with a friend. You can find out more about the game at its official website.

Michael Fontanini
Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
