Final Fantasy XV | Magitek Exosuits

Final Fantasy XV continues to grow and evolve beyond its release. Just at the tail end of July, a new update is available, adding several new items and quests to the game.

The most exciting addition to the game is the new Magitek Exosuits. For 30 minutes a day, Noctis and gang can dress up in these super suits that grant them invincibility. However, if you like the look of the costumes, you are still given the option to wear them even when their effect has worn off.

Additionally, the update adds a new quest named “O Partner, My Partner” and a new “Cross Chain” collaboration system. The new quest is available at the Meldacio Hunter HQ after completing Chapter 8. The new collaboration system focuses on delivering high damage to strong, defensive enemies through linked attacks. The number of linked attacks are increased through this new system. Cross Chain opens up once you unlock the Sword of the Wise and Axe of the Conqueror.

Lastly, starting today and ending in late September, the Moogle Chocobo Carnival returns! You’ll be able to take part in the limited-time mini-games once again, including Chocobo water races. However, in order to participate, you need to have the FFXV Holiday Pack +, which can be found through the season pass or by downloading the free version separately. Check out the link for more details.

Square Enix also recently announced a closed beta for the upcoming multiplayer mode for Final Fantasy XV. The beta is projected to run from August 3rd to August 8th. Players interested will need to have purchased the Season Pass along with having a PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold membership. You can find more details at the official website.
