Lab Zero Games, the creators of Skullgirls, are adding another game to the Nintendo Switch library, as their upcoming title Indivisible will arrive on the console next year. Significantly, it also marks the studio’s first foray on a Nintendo platform, as Skullgirls skipped out on Wii U last gen. Lab Zero itself thinks the Switch is a great fit for their new game. Per the official blog, “platformers and RPGs are great to play on the go, and seeing that Indivisible is both, we think it’s a great fit for the system.”

Indivisible started life as an Indiegogo crowdfunding success in 2015, with its sights set on PS4, Xbox One, and PC platforms. Lab Zero Games will be partnering with publisher 505 Games to bring the game to Switch in physical (and collector’s) form, following in the footsteps of other Switch indies like RiME and Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+. In fact, to help the normal development process run smoothly, Lab Zero has hired an extra programmer to assist in the Switch porting process.

A platformer/RPG hybrid by trade, you’ll traverse a Peruvian-style landscape battling monsters in combat that resembles the JRPG classic Valkyria Chronicles. All versions of Indivisible hit in 2018, and if you’re a campaign backer, you’re now able to select the Switch version via BackerKit as a backer reward if you so desire.
