The strategy/action RPG Fallen Legion now has a release date for North America and Europe, launching on both PlayStation 4 and PS Vita July 25th. Most specifically, the game actually comes in two unique experiences exclusive to each platform. Fallen Legion: Sins of an Empire is for PS4, while Fallen Legion: Flames of Rebellion will hit the Vita.

Depending on which version you play, the story, characters, and boss battles will differ. The story will evolve as you, as either Princess Cecille (PS4) or her nefarious rival Legatus Laendur (Vita) make choices that determine which side you fight for in a grand war in the kingdom of Fenumia. No matter which version, both blend RPG and fighting game elements in an intricate battle system (the PlayStation Blog has a detailed breakdown of how battles precisely work).

Fallen Legion was originally announced back in December 2015, developed by YummyYummyTummmy and directed by Spencer Yip. Limited Run Games will also have a special retail edition in store, perfect for hardcore RPG devotees.
