The veteran developer Dingo, known for their work on Photo Kano, the Hatsune Miku Project Diva PSP entries and originally assisting as co-developers of Persona 4: Dancing all Night, have been officially declared bankrupt with debts of more than 340 million yen, it has been confirmed by various Japanese sites including GAME Watch.

The rumours originally began when their official website became inaccessible. Then a document appeared online (which is above) states that the studio willl be closing, with the studio ending business on 21st March. It will then be filing for bankruptcy in Tokyo District Court. Note that none of this could be varified from the document alone.

Then somebody posted some information in the 2chan thread for Laguna Strike Angels, which is a game developed by Dingo and published by DMM. This poster claimed to be a former employee and stated that the debt has exceeded 300 million yen, some employees still haven’t been paid and that the poor sales of Reco Love is what led to the company’s demise. Furthermore, the source also claims that the document that was put online is legitimate.
