Last night was exciting, huh? I think I speak for many when I say I was enthralled by the Switch presentation, and am now totally invested in the upcoming console. Didn’t think it was possible to be more excited, but that is now the case since it’s been announced that Afterbirth+, the definitive version of The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, is headed to the Switch! My favorite roguelike of all time, with madness, violence and humor to spare, is somehow coming to a Nintendo console, and I couldn’t be happier. Sure, Rebirth was also on the Wii U and 3DS, but trust me when I say Afterbirth+ is exponentially more crazy and challenging than either, so it’s a small miracle this is happening. Or pact with the devil, whichever floats your boat.

Better yet, there will be both a retail and digital version of the game, for those impulsive collectors out there. It’s shaping up to be a great summer this 2017.
