TaleWorlds Entertainment have released the fan favorite Mount & Blade: Warband on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. This marks the series debut on consoles. After first emerging as a hobby project back in 2004, the Mount & Blade series has sold over six million copies on PC. The console port offers the full experience from the PC version, plus enhanced textures and visual effects. You can purchase it digitally for $19.99.

Mount & Blade: Warband Releases for PlayStation®4 and Xbox One

ANKARA, Turkey (Sept. 16, 2016)—TaleWorlds Entertainment release fan-favourite Warband as series’ debut on consoles.

The Mount & Blade series sold in excess of six million units on PC, after first emerging as a hobby project in 2004. Warband, released for PC in 2010, has an “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating on Steam, based on over 40,000 user reviews and is still one of the most-played games on the platform. This year, the game received a placement of 30th in PC Gamer’s Top 100 Games of All Time.

The console port offers the complete experience from the PC version, up to 32-player multiplayer, enhanced texture detail and improved visual effects. It can be purchased digitally at $19.99.

Game Description:
In a land torn asunder by incessant warfare, it is time to assemble your own band of hardened warriors and enter the fray. Lead your men into battle, expand your realm, and claim the ultimate prize: the throne of Calradia!

  • Set off on a quest for adventures and carry out the tasks you have been given or charge into battle with your own army

Michael Fontanini
Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few.
