Microsoft said today in their conference that multiplayer and competition are important to them, and that they have listened to the fans. As such, there are three new features coming this fall.
First is Xbox Live Clubs. Players can create communities to talk to other players with similar interests. Not sure why Microsoft thinks there are not already places to do this… but it could be a fun thing to try out.
Up next is Looking for Group. This is like a want ad for Group.
Lastly we have Arena. This is a new tournament platform that offers the easiest way to discover, register and compete in tournaments. You can do so solo or with friends. Things like FIFA will be coming to Arena in the coming years.
