Full Mojo Rampage | Occult Power

One of the games I was fortunate enough to play at PAX Prime last year was Full Mojo Rampage. I didn’t know what to expect, other than it was being published by Nicalis. After playing it, I quickly went from ignorant gamer to one captivated by this strange, occult, twin stick rogue-like experience. Though it’s very different from the Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, another fantastic twin stick game published by Nicalis, Full Mojo Rampage instantly made me think of the quirky classic. Better yet, this great new IP is headed to PS4 and XBox One this Spring.

For those of you curious how Full Mojo Rampage differs from Binding of Isaac, I’ll spell out a few key aspects of the game. You play as one of several apprentices to dark deities known as Loa in the pursuit of more power. Using enchanted items called Mojos, you make your way through randomly generated environments, facing hordes of foes. One special aspect of the game is that it allows up to 4 player multiplayer. As well, there will be various modes such as Campaign, Daily Quest, King of Mojo and more. Last but not least, the soundtrack for Full Mojo Rampage was composed by Alistar Lindsay, known for Prison Architect.

I personally am very excited for more folks to try out this great game. My only complaint is that it’s not coming to Wii U, but I’m sure that’s due to graphical standards. For everybody else, you owe it to yourself to check out Full Mojo Rampage when it comes out sometime this Spring. In the meantime, take a look at this sexy trailer.
