Knights and Bikes | Title Image

A quick heads up to those interested in the game Knights and Bikes, which is currently on Kickstarter  and that we covered right here. This wildly colorful and visually stunning game is confirmed for release on the Sony PlayStation 4, as announced at the US PlayStation blog.  The post was made by Rex Crowe (Tearaway, LittleBigPlanet) one of the founders of Foam Sword, the indie developer studio working on the title. Rex, along with co-founder Moo Yu (LittleBigPlanet, Ratchet & Clank) are working on the game together, and, according to their profile on Kickstarter, they “make games about fun, friends, and imagination.” Sounds good to me; the industry can always use more of that.

The game follows the exploits of two children on the island of Penfurzy working together to defeat invading ghosts, and in order to succeed they’ll have to use everything around them, from frisbees to, yes, bikes. In case you’re still not on board, here’s the PS4 announce trailer for you to check out.

Knights and Bikes is tentatively scheduled for release in 2017 for Windows PC, Mac, Linux and, now, Sony PlayStation 4. It is being developed and published by Foam Sword.
