In Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam more than Paper Mario will get to meet their Mushroom Kingdom counterparts. Instead, when the two worlds collide, the result is a charming, sidesplittingly funny, creative new game – one in which the universe, thankfully, remains intact.

We will get to see what happens when Princess Peach meets her paper counterpart, as well as getting to see what happens when two Bowsers collide.

Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam starts the year off on a fun note,” said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing. “The wild and wonderful crossover game is one of many exclusive games launching for Nintendo 3DS throughout the first part of 2016.”

In Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam Mario and Luigi team up with Paper Mario in battle to create all new combos, such as throwing ninja stars made out of Paper Mario or riding down on meteorites to crash into the enemies. The game fuses real-time battle with a turn-based system for combat. You receive Battle Cards to level up your team’s abilities. You can also combine “?” cards with Amiibos to create Character Cards for use in battle. Character Cards not only assist you in battle, but they all feature art based on the character used to create it, using art from the last 30 years of Nintendo history.

I have also taken 3 years of Japanese at UW-Whitewater. I also am in love with board games. I have about 50 at home. Some of those are Legendary, Mice and Mystics, Betrayal at House on the Hill, and Adventure Time Munchkin. Beyond all that I am a happily married mother of two. My sons are 7 and 5 years old. My entire family plays games together. My sons favorite game at the moment is Yokai Watch.
