VGA

I know what you’re going to say… “Who cares?” Well, the Video Game Awards on Spike TV are certainly not the bastion of video game awards. In fact, I personally think very little of them and would easily call it a farce. However! This is a special occasion. Besides the two games being very well embedded into our website’s history, who would have thought that not just one, but two JRPGs would even be included in the picks, let alone be up for nominations.

We’re just happy the games have gotten this much level of exposure, and while I may be biased when I say this, I truly believe they deserve it. These two games are a class act when it comes to RPGs. So I simply ask and not beg as a fan: Vote for Xenoblade under the category of ‘Best RPG‘, and Xenoblade or Last Story under the category of ‘Best Wii/Wii U Game (in my opinion both games were great).

So before you simply brush it off, we simply ask that you vote. Though we do ask that you don’t get angry over it if neither title wins in this year’s VGA. This is simple, good fun and we’re just hoping for the best. As the saying goes, “every vote counts”.

Good luck to Xenoblade & The Last Story! Even if they don’t win we all know they’re fantastic titles that deserved the localization and the praise that they have gotten; no question there.

The Video Game Awards will premiere live on Spike TV on December 7th, 2012 at 9:00 PM ET/6:00 PM PT.
