Vita Fans Go Back to Nature with Ecolibrium Today

Good news today for Vita fans that like to play god. Starting today, you’ll be able to enjoy, for free, a new application called Ecolibrium. In it, you get to maintain and manipulate an alien ecosystem, raise alien species, terraform the world and explore to your heart’s content.

The key to the game is balance. You’ll have to account for such factors as feeding your creatures and the proper proportion of links in the planetary food chains as well as seasonal weather impact. By keeping the balance, you’re rewarded with Ecopoints, which can be spent to purchase new species.

Ecolibrium will also feature Trophy support, for all those completionists out there, as well as future updates to the game. Considering the asking price, Ecolibrium looks like a win-win purchase for anyone with a Vita.
