UPDATE 06/08/12 12:00 am: In an interview with IGN, Ubisoft’s VP of Sales and Marketing Tony Key said that, while they currently don’t have any plans on bringing Watch Dogs to the Wii U, they were open to the possibility.

“We have so many titles in development for Wii U right now that we need to keep that team focused and this is a very very ambitious game. But it’s not out of the question.”

I think we can all agree that Ubisoft won E3 when they showed off Watch Dogs. Given how detailed the graphics for this game are, one would think they’d be released for Microsoft’s and Sony’s hypothetical next-gen consoles. Thankfully, that doesn’t seem to be the case.

During an interview with Geoff Keighley on Spike TV, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillermont revealed what platforms the game will be released on. They will be the PC, Xbox 360, and the PS3. Interestingly, they didn’t say anything about a version for the Wii U. Maybe Ubisoft isn’t as supportive of the Wii U as they originally let on.
