The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky HD Comparison

As reported earlier, there will be a PS3 version of The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky. Now, Falcom has released a few screens of the HD port from the original PSP version. Below are a few images showcasing the differences between the PS3 and PSP versions.

Both versions of the game will also be able to share game data, allowing for game saves to be transferred. The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky for PS3 will be released on December 13, 2012.

If this comes out in North America for PS3 I will pick it up. I’ve heard how great this game is over and over again. At least I guess it’s good?

  One of the best JRPGs on the PSP. The Legend of Heroes series, like the Ys series, have always been the cream of the crop that sadly didn’t make to the west until way later. Glad things have changed, and Nihon Falcom themselves want their two franchises go to a masses of JRPG fans who crave for games that are unlike anything else.

This is my favorite game on the PSP. It kind of reminds me a bit of Lunar. It is all about the feeling of setting out on a grand adventure and interacting with all the people you meet a long the way. If you enjoy RPGs that focus more on story and the characters, rather then big flashy graphics and such then this is the game for you. I personally am I just hoping we get to see the rest of the trilogy in the west. I hope this comes out in the west as well and would obviously be a day 1 purchase for me.

Someone needs to give XSeed a Call on this << they've got the licensing for the PSP version in the US.
