7. Project P-100 (working title)

Project P-100 - Top Games of E3 2012One of the more interesting moments of Nintendo’s Press Conference was the decision NOT to show off Project P-100, because quite frankly, it looks badass and deserves more recognition. A cross between Pikmin, Little King’s Story and Line Attack Heroes, it has you and your followers fighting against giant, evil robots. The most unique thing about it, though, is that you can morph your followers into a weapon or other device to help destroy the evil robots. Want a big-ass sword? Then morph your followers into one. Brilliant. Operation Rainfall loves nothing more than a quirky game, and Project P-100 has quirky written all over it.

6. ZombiU

ZombiU - Top Games of E3 2012What’s better than a zombie shooter? A zombie shooter set in the streets of jolly old England’s capital city, London, that’s what! ZombiU was a surprise announcement at E3, especially considering it has replaced Killer Freaks from Outer Space. What makes this zombie shooter different is the unique way it uses the Wii U’s Gamepad. It’s given the survival horror genre a new injection of life.

Oh, and it also had the best debut trailer of the whole of E3 2012… in my humble opinion *cough*.

5. Rayman Legends

Rayman Legends - Top Games of E3 2012We all knew that a new Rayman game was coming to the Wii U; but we didn’t expect it to look so awesome with the glorious HD graphics, the immense music and the unique ways it utilises the Wii U GamePad. Ubisoft certainly brought the goods to Nintendo at this year’s E3 and they impressed us so much with Rayman Legends that it’s no surprise this game has taken our No 5 spot.

David Rawlings
David Rawlings, or ‘Rawky’ as we like to call him, joined the Operation Rainfall Campaign at the beginning. He’s British and found solace with us as he was able to understand our pain about Nintendo and their localizing faux pas. He’s a big fan of the letter ‘U’ and refuses to remove them from words, even though we constantly ask him to. He also believes it’s about time Princess Daisy got kidnapped.
