Yesterday evening, the Wii U Facebook page (http://www NULL.facebook NULL.com/WiiU) teased this image regarding exclusive content in the Wii U version of Scribblenauts Unlimited.

The characters hidden behind the shadows have been revealed! Today, WB Interactive announced that Scribblenauts Unlimited will feature “dozens” of characters and items from Super Mario Bros and The Legend of Zelda.

Specific characters mentioned include Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Link, Epona, Zelda, and a Goron.

You can call upon these characters by using the game’s dictionary, of course. But you won’t be able to modify these characters with adjectives (a new feature in Scribblenauts Unlimited). Here’s a few words from WB Interactive:

“Players will delight in producing fantastical and sometimes hilarious interactions between the Mario and Legend of Zelda characters and objects, alongside everyone’s favorite word-wielding Scribblenauts adventurer, Maxwell. Discovered Nintendo characters and objects will behave in the fun and fantastical ways they do in their respective game worlds.”

As of yet, this breaking news is in regards to the Wii U version of the game; no exclusive characters have been confirmed for the 3DS version. Scribblenauts Unlimited boasts several other new features. Plenty of additional information can be found at the game’s official website (http://games NULL.kidswb NULL.com/official-site/scribblenauts/unlimited/home NULL.html?lang=en) and the Scribblenauts Facebook page (https://www NULL.facebook NULL.com/ScribblenautsVideoGame).

Has anyone undecided on the new Scribblenauts game made up their minds because of this news? Will you be buying this game on launch day thanks to Mario & Zelda cameos? Let us know in the comments below!
