For those of you who don’t remember, I did a Retro Wrap-Up for the Star Fox franchise with almost every commercial that Nintendo of America has ever done. I say “almost” because there is one glaring omission that I completely neglected. Nintendo of America made a 10-minute VHS promotional video for Star Fox 64. It’s absolutely stupid and cheesy and I feel terrible for not mentioning it before. Thus, the Operation Rainfall Retro Commercial Research Team (in other words, me) shall present to you the video in all of its hilariously cheesy glory in this week’s Retro Wrap-Up.

Here are the highlights of this past week.

We list our Top 10 most wanted SNES games for the Virtual Console.

The Mighty No. 9 KickStarter blew past its online co-op stretch goal and continues to chug along, hopefully to its new PS Vita/3DS stretch goal.

Jon, Jared and Randy decide to host a Legend of Zelda roundtable in this week’s installment of The Downpour Podcast, which will now be available every two weeks.

Not only has Valve announced a new operating system called SteamOS, but they also revealed a new controller for use with its various Steam machines.

Atlus releases a new teaser website, possibly Persona related. What could they have up their sleeves?

Speaking of Persona, a new expansion of Persona 4: Arena called Persona 4: The Ultimate Ultra Suplex Hold has been revealed for a Japanese release sometime this winter.

In addition, both Atlus and Aksys have permanently dropped the price of some of their eShop titles, including Etrian Odyssey IV: The Legends of the Titan and Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers.
