Renegade Kid’s Planet Crashers Landing on eShop

Renegade Kid, the developer behind Nintendo DS Dementium survival-horror games and the well-received eShop titles Mutant Mudds and Bomb Monkey, are coming out with a new downloadable title, Planet Crashers.  So far, the game will only be available on the North American eShop with no word on whether it will be available to other regions.

Originally intended as a retail title, Planet Crashers is a dungeon crawling RPG.  The game touts turn-based battles, quests that take you to several planets, fully customizable characters, and 2-player gaming (no word on whether this is local or through the internet).  According to the ESRB summary of the game, weapons from the game will include items such as umbrellas, hammers, and giant carrots.

Planet Crashers is rated E10 for Everyone 10 and up and will be available on July 26th in North America.  The price for the game will be $9.99 and will be published by Ignition Entertainment.
