Professor Layton

Japan’s release date for Professor Layton and the Azran Legacies is just a few days off; it will be out there on the  28th of February. But before that happens, Level 5 has chosen to bring fans one last trailer before it’s set loose on the world.

The trailer for the new, airship-faring entry in the beloved puzzle series starts off rather alarmingly, with a shot of our heroes laying face-down, seemingly unconscious, on the ground. It then shows off several new areas, gives us glimpses at dozens of new puzzles, and then rounds things out with a look at the storyline of the game.

Check it out below:

Professor Layton and the Azran Legacies is the sixth game in the Professor Layton series, and rounds off the series’ second trilogy. It contains many puzzles for the player to solve, which is what the series is famous for. It looks as if both Layton and Luke will be trekking all over the planet in this, the latest installment.

No announcement of a loacalization has been made yet. Hopefully one will be made sometime soon.

Have any of you played a Professor Layton game before? If so, did you enjoy it? Let us know!
