It was previously reported that Namco Bandai’s dungeon-crawler crossover RPG, Lost Heroes would be releasing on both the Nintendo 3DS and SONY PSP. This week, Famitsu has revealed some of the differences between the two versions.
The 3DS version will take advantage of the system’s Street Pass functionality, allowing players to obtain “Random Cubes,” which are dungeons containing rare items.
The PSP version will also feature “Random Cubes,” but it is not known what will take the place of Street Pass. In addition, the PSP version will include a Custom Soundtrack option, which will allow players to choose a specific track that will play when a “Hero Move” is used.
There has been no word of a Western release, but since Lost Heroes mainly features characters from series that are quite obscure to Western audiences, I wouldn’t get my hopes up.
