Guild 02 FeaturedFollowing the last article written about Guild02, Level-5 has confirmed in a PR statement that it will be bringing its three games to North America and Europe. Unlike Guild01, where only 3 of its 4 games were released worldwide, Guild02 will be seeing all of its games released.

The three games that will be released by Level-5 are The Spaceship Damrey, Bugs VS. Tanks! and Attack of the Friday Monsters! A Tokyo Tale. Now that these titles are written in proper English, they are finally much easier to understand. Level-5 will also be linking bonus content for each of the new releasing games to those who have save data from Liberation Maiden, Aero Porter, and Crimson Shroud. As of right now, those three games are being sold in the Nintendo 3DS eShop at discounted prices.

The Spaceship Damrey is horror/suspense adventure game by Kazuya Asano (Kamaitachi no Yoru (The Night of the Sickle Weasel), TORNEKO: The Last Hope) and written by Takemaru Abiko (Kamaitachi no Yoru (The Night of the Sickle Weasel), TRICK X LOGIC), who have pedigree in Japan as the pioneers of text-based adventure games.

Players control an amnesiac who wakes up after being trapped in a Cold Sleep capsule aboard a spaceship with no recollection of where they are or what they’re doing. There are no guidelines or tutorials in the game with the intention that players discover themselves and improvise, finding for themselves an inconceivable truth.

Bonus content will include a special scenario that can be unlocked after players beat the game.

The next game is Bugs VS. Tanks, an action shooter set in World War II and created by Megaman and Onimusha creator Keiji Inafune. This game involves a German panzer unit that is shrunk to insect size, fighting off bugs and hoping they will return to their normal size.

Yup, that’s an iron cross alright…

In-game tanks are based off of those from history, and have customize-able features such as upgrading the body and turret, and painting them with the player’s choice of colors and designs. The game will also have co-op missions where four players can call for friendly cover via Streetpass. There will also be a gold tank available for players who have bought any of the previous Guild01 titles.

This is better than TV

Finally, the last game is the charming and all-too-funny Attack of the Friday Monsters! A Tokyo Tale, by Millennium Kitchen’s Kaz Ayabe, who is known to make heartwarming stories for the Boku no Natsuyasumi (Summer Holidays 20th Century) series.

Friday Monsters is supposed to be a life-simulator game that takes place in Tokyo, where a young boy named Sohta sees giant robots from 1970s TV shows come to life every Friday. One of the main intents behind this concept is to illicit nostalgic feelings from a simpler time when there were quieter towns, tranquil scenery, and giant monsters to watch on TV after school. Friday Monsters will be Ayabe’s first game to be released outside Japan.

Anyone who downloaded the Guild01 games will obtain a Space Defense Department Junior Member Notebook with concept art and illustrations from the game.

Sounds pretty good right? All three games from Level-5’s Guild02 will be released internationally, and will have bonus content for anybody who downloaded games like Liberation MaidenAero Porter, and Crimson Shroud.

So which of these games are you looking forward to?
