Good news today for fans of Falcom’s RPG series Legend of Heroes. Their latest entry, Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki (roughly translated to Trails in the Flash), is headed to the PS3 and Vita in Japan sometime in 2013. Falcom also provided early plot details:

The prologue takes place on the western part of the continent of Zemuria, specifically in the Elbonian Empire. This is symbolized by a golden horse emblem. Some RPGs only deal with medieval themes and technology. However, in Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki, the Elbonian Empire has made radical strides in modernization, expanding railroads across the entire country. Events start to come to a breaking point between the Noble Faction and the Reformist Group when the Faction invades the Kingdom of Libert. Centralized by the noble clan of the elements, the Faction utilizes vast resources to maintain a regional army and forcibly protect their interests. On the other hand, the Reformist Group, a fledgling upstart power, attempts to usurp the nobles under the leadership of Gilias Osbourne, the Iron Chancellor.

Sounds like an interesting premise thus far. Until we know more about Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki, enjoy the following pictures.
