LA-MULANA

La-Mulana is now available on Steam for $14.99. Originally released for PC in Japan, it was later remade for WiiWare and released in the West (check out our review here). This here is the port that western PC gamers will be able to enjoy.

Developed by NIGORO, La-Mulana is a 2D, side-scrolling action game – or, as the website says, an “Archeological Ruin Exploration Action Game” which, to be honest, sounds much, much cooler. Players will explore ancient ruins (the ruins of “La-Mulana”), attempting to find the “Secret Treasure of Life.” The ruins are guarded by deadly traps that must be disarmed, and monsters stand guard to fend off intruders. In addition, the game has puzzles that must be solved, all while fighting to stay alive.
