Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance | Hideo Kojima Trailer | Title

Metal Gear series creator Hideo Kojima has created a new Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance (http://www NULL.konami NULL.jp/mgr/) trailer. This self-described “final trailer” contemplates the latest predicament of the main character, Raiden. It also examines how the Metal Gear world has fared since the events of Metal Gear Solid 4.

Below is the trailer with American English subtitles. Also available are subtitles in British English (http://www NULL.youtube NULL.com/watch?v=QPD9znGuFyA), Portuguese (http://www NULL.youtube NULL.com/watch?v=t4maFS5-AOY) (mislabeled “Spanish(Portugal)”), Spanish (http://www NULL.youtube NULL.com/watch?v=W4RmIYg9bmI), Italian (http://www NULL.youtube NULL.com/watch?v=3ucUHFksVqs), German (http://www NULL.youtube NULL.com/watch?v=dtCwi9iwC8k), French (http://www NULL.youtube NULL.com/watch?v=h25NsSif3OA), and Japanese (http://www NULL.youtube NULL.com/watch?v=AkoMuJeXb4k).

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is available today in North America for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360. The game will be released in Europe and Japan February 21, in the United Kingdom and Ireland February 22, and in Australia February 26. In Japan, the game will be a PS3 exclusive; there were originally plans for a Japanese release for the 360, but it was cancelled early on in the game’s development.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is the ninth game in the Metal Gear series and is set four years after the events of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. It will see players assume control of Raiden, a longtime companion of Snake.

Is there anyone out there who picked up Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance today, or will be doing so soon? What do you think it’s going to be like? Let us know!
