Killer Instinct Trademark Renewed

News from playxbla.com has revealed that Microsoft has renewed the trademark on Killer Instinct. As their website name implies, they’re mainly exclusive about Xbox Live Arcade titles.

Here is what the website had to say:

Our legal eagles have authorized us to say: “We have either renewed or refiled a trademark application in various jurisdictions.”

Can this be what we Killer Instinct fans have been waiting for? Can it be a new installment? It could most likely be that Microsoft refiled it so they simply wouldn’t lose the use of the name. We will see in time.
