God Eater 2

It’s time to hunt some Aragami once more, as God Eater 2, sequel to God Eater Burst, has finally received a release date in Japan. It will be released on November 14th of this year.

An obvious challenger to the Monster Hunter series, Namco Bandai’s God Eater franchise became a very popular alternative to the Capcom’s hack & slash games when they released the first God Eater back in 2010.  Now, God Eater 2 looks to continue the fight, as more weapons and equipment, a new story-line, a few new battle mechanics, and much larger and more threatening Aragami beasts will be introduced to expand and improve on the original.

God Eater 2 will be out in Japan on November 14th, for both the Sony PSP and the Vita. I for one hope a Western localization is in the works, but for now, us God Eater fans will have to cross our fingers and hope for the best.
