Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends | oprainfall

Temco Koei, publisher of Dynasty Warriors 8 announced recently that Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends will soon be coming to the PlayStation 4. Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends, an enhanced version of the original game, is set to be a launch title for the PlayStation 4 in Japan, meaning it will be released on February 22nd of next year. The PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita versions which were announced previously will still be launching in Japan this November 28th.

According to to producer Akihiro Suzuki, the PS4 version will feature more onscreen enemies, improved lighting, greater variation in opponent motion, and a greater sense of realism on the battlefield. With all of these extra features, it doesn’t seem unreasonable that some will choose to wait for the PS4 release.

Dynasty Warriors 8 is the 8th major entry in the Dynasty Warriors series. It’s a hack and slash action game with a story based on the historical Chinese novel, Romance of the Three Kingdoms. The game was released in Japan for the PlayStation 3 in February of this year and made it to Europe, Australia, and North America on both the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 in July.
