A few people are experiencing trouble getting the disc to read in their Wii. Xenoblade Chronicles is retailer-exclusive. Pandora’s Tower launches on April 13th in Europe, and April 12th in Australia, so even though we are all extremely excited about Xenoblade Chronicles release (and are still playing it ourselves!), we are going to go into an abrupt shift into promoting Pandora’s Tower later this week. We feel that sales overseas are a crucial factor in determining whether the game will be released in America. Because I ore ordered threw Nintendo I still haven’t received my copy. This is complete bullshit for such a big company!!! This negates the whole point of Pre Ordering a game.

  Did you order one day shipping or something? Otherwise I don’t see how you would expect to have it by now. When you preorder a game online it does not typically ship until the day it is released. Most of the big mail services do not ship Saturday unless an extra premium is paid. If I were you I would expect it Tuesday. If you wanted it day one you should have ordered from a retailer with a physical presence, such as a local Gamestop store.

  Sorry, but that’s complete bullshit. I’d have picked up my copy from Gamestop if they had the controller bundle, but it’s ONLY through Nintendo, so it’s as Tretion said, Nintendo dropped the ball big time on this one. The whole point of pre-ordering is so you’re guaranteed a copy right away. I shouldn’t have to “settle” for just the release when they offered a bundle edition as well.
  Second, there are still many people with “Backordered” status through Nintendo, so it’s still going to take longer than expected to get it. My pre-order is still registered as “backordered”.Third, when you have companies like Amazon who make sure you have the game ON the day of release, shipping it before the date, why is Nintendo allowed a pass? I don’t think so.

  I saved myself the hassle and preordered the game at the gamestop where I work and just picked up a preowned classic controller. If nintendo had done a special controller bundle or something I might have gone that route, but I didn’t want to risk the chance of delays. I hope your situation gets worked out though.

My first day was great! about 5 hours in now, the battle system is simple, yet complex and fun! It really does feel like a offline mmorpg. This is shaping up to be the greatest jrpg this generation

I must say, I’m 15 hours in, and I can’t believe Nintendo
almost wasn’t going to release this. I’ve tried my best to avoid all
story spoilers, so I can’t attest to how the full story ends up, but
from what I’ve seen so far, I can say that Xenoblade Chronicles is hands
down my favorite RPG of the current batch of consoles. The story so far is incredibly engaging, the music and landscape is breathtaking, and the battle system is like digital crack.

It be epic. Some of my friends wouldn’t play Halo with me because they said it wasn’t Skyrim. Now they want to play Halo but I’ll say it isn’t Xenoblade lololololol

I’m twenty hours in right now and so far I have been blown away. This game is fantastic. I can definitely say it’s one of the best RPGs I’ve played in a while. It also looks pretty damn nice considering the system it’s on has less overall capability than a PS2.
