Hex Heroes | oprainfall

It was close, but Hex Heroes has hit its initial funding goal with hours to go. For those who might not have kept up with this, Hex Heroes is attempting to be a 5-player co-op game for the Wii U. One person looks at the gamepad, and gives out orders RTS style, with up to four players on the TV carrying out those orders.

Hex Heroes - Updated Stretch Goals | oprainfall

Now that the game is officially funded, Prismatic Games is now looking towards stretch goals. At $90,000, they’ll add a Gamepad vs TV multiplayer mode and a Journey Mode. And at $100,000, they’ll start adding in online modes; first with the Wii U, then with the PC at $110,000. That sounds interesting.

Prismatic has also announced a PayPal option for those who miss the KickStarter, so watch out for that. The campaign will end on Thursday, April 24 2014 11:01 am EDT. All in all, this looks like a great project. I’m glad that game has reached this milestone.

You still have 15 hours to help out the Kickstarter campaign. You can check it out by clicking here.
