As the title suggests a new game has been added to the Xbox Live arcade not to long ago called, Lolita of Labyrinth, for a mere 240 Microsoft Points, there’s also a Trial Version out as well, you know what they say “try before you buy”.
You play as the aristocratic goth lolita fashioned, Audra, who’s literally bored with her cooked up rich life in her dull manor, so she want’s to spice things up, until she uncovers an entrance to a sealed off demon-infested labyrinth behind the portrait of a lady known as “the Mistress of Gothloli”.
There she must duck, jump, and crawl her way out through the various puzzles through her journey in this mysterious realm.
Quote from Siliconera (http://www NULL.siliconera NULL.com/2012/03/25/would-you-guide-a-gothic-lolita-through-a-deadly-labyrinth/):
“Lolita of Labyrinth is an action platformer. Audra is blessed with the skills required to navigate the most complex of labyrinths, such as double jumps and dashes. What really separates Audra from the other protagonists, though, is that she can kick her enemies AND stomp them while they’re down to deliver the finishing blow(s). Guess she’s a little excitable.”
Fan reception so far has been mixed, praise to the art, music, graphics plus animation have been well forth. The gameplay however has had a lukewarm reception with many reporting that the controls are a bit sluggish and that Audra moves at a snail pace. While others report that the level designs themselves are uninspired.
Well you get what you pay for.
