Ginga Force for Xbox 360 is Region Free

If you thought Cave were the only guys who region freed their shmups, think again! On their Twitter (https://twitter NULL.com/gingaforce/status/239022475915177985), Qute Corporation has announced that Ginga Force is indeed region free like their previous game Eschatos.

Another win for Shoot ‘em up fans, as Eschatos was a fantastic Bullet Hell shooter, and Ginga Force looks to be no different.

Region free ALL the games. I think region locks are quite possibly the stupidest idea to have come out of the video games industry ever. Right up there with on disc DLC.

  On disc DLC was the worst. There’s nothing to argue there. The Region Locking had some sense to it (from a business perspective, the side fans hate with a passion).

  I can understand it if they plan to release a certain game in another country and don’t want to interfere with sales, that’s why region locks exists but when they never make it or are intended to be one region only then it makes no sense.
  
  So glad about this news though, Eschatos was a great shmup, it’s not bullet hell as this article suggests but more traditional in it’s bullet arrangements which is what I liked about it.
