Game Boy Advance on Wii U Virtual Console | Nintendo Direct (North America) 2014-02-13

Fans have long awaited news that Game Boy Advance games will be available on the Virtual Console. While there were a couple of GBA games given out as part of the 3DS Ambassador program for early adopters, there has been nothing since…

That is, until tonight’s Nintendo Direct, when Satoru Iwata announced that Game Boy Advance games will be coming to the Virtual Console on the Wii U. This follows the announcement at the recent Investor’s Briefing that DS games will be released there, as well. The initial lineup of games include Metroid Fusion, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, and Yoshi’s Island: Super Mario Advance 3. These games will be released in April, with more to follow.

So what do you think of this exciting announcement? What games are you looking forward to seeing released? Let us know in the comments below!
