With the release getting closer, and Fire Emblem fans being anxious about localization in the NTSC region, Nintendo released new information about the game, which includes.

– allies that you’re standing next to in battle can join you in attacking
– they will also boost your stats
– develop ties with each other during battle
– over 40 jobs
– characters can change class

Some were weary thinking with new tactics like double teaming would make the game too easy even if the enemy units can do the same, but with Nintendo I believe they know fans love the harsh difficulty, with balancing these elements will not hinder, but enhance the experience.

The release date for Japan is still slated for April, 19 of this year. Pal region is still up in the air, while NTSC region still has not been announced.
