Nintendo of Japan have revealed the latest DLC character for Fire Emblem: Awakening, Ike.

Ike first appeared in Path of Radiance, for Nintendo Gamecube, which was the first home console Fire Emblem game to be given a western release. He also appeared in the Wii‘s follow up: Radiant Dawn and was a playable character in Super Smash Bros Brawl.

Its interesting to note that his right arm seems to have been replaced by a sword. What sort of mischief has Sir Ike been up to, hmm?

According to the official website, this round of DLC will be available on the 26th July, in Japan, and will cost 400 Yen.

Fire Emblem: Awakening is coming to the United States and Europe in 2013. Nintendo has said the Western release will feature “a robust amount of DLC”, so odds are American and European fans will get to play as Ike as well.
