Square Enix just released a new trailer for its Final Fantasy XIV reboot on YouTube. Interestingly, the voiced narration is in English. So for those of you worried about not understanding it due to the Japanese text, don’t worry.
Kyle has been studying music at college for about three years now. He's played the piano since he was 6 years old and has been recently been learning how to write music. He has followed the Operation Rainfall movement on Facebook since it started and was happy to volunteer for the website. Just don't mention Earthbound or the Mother franchise around him.
That’s really weird. Why make a trailer with Japanese text and English voice over. Add in the Latin chanting, and you’ve got the most linguistically confused trailer of all time.

The English voice over is just a translation of the Japanese text. And Latin chanting in music isn’t that unusual.

Well at least they’re trying to fix it bit by bit.

You know, this is the first time I’ve heard the Final Fantasy opening theme in a long time, in a newer Final Fantasy title. Just hearing that song brings back memories.
sure the trailers are good, but the games are just too repetitive for me, and I stop playing after like… boss 3 or 4. if it was an action rpg then I will for sure give this series another chance.
