UPDATE: So, Square Enix revealed the pricing structure for its latest mobile outing. It’ll be split up into chapters, similar to Back to the Future from Telltale. The Prologue will be free and Chapter 1 will be $2.99. However, Chapters 2-4 will cost $9.99. If you want to buy the whole collection, that’ll set you back $28.99! This makes Final Fantasy Dimensions the most expensive game Square Enix has made for mobile devices.
I mean, yikes! I hope the iOS port of The World Ends With You isn’t that expensive.
Square Enix has revealed the international release date of Final Fantasy Dimensions on iOS and Android devices. For those not in the know, Final Fantasy Dimensions is a throwback to its older Final Fantasy titles. Specifically, SNES titles like Final Fantasy IV and Final Fantasy VI (II and III in North America). The game will have an Active Time Battle system and a Job Change System, similar to Final Fantasy V.
Final Fantasy Dimensions will be available on iOS and Android starting August 31st. Unfortunately, we have no word on what the price is at this time, so stay tuned for more info as it comes.
