Rayman Legends screenshotUbisoft revealed more information about Rayman Legends at their E3 press conference today. Their new trailer for the game showed off a few new worlds and some competitive multiplayer modes, including what appears to be some kind of soccer-type mode. The game also boasts 120 levels, making it one of the biggest Rayman games to date. It also promises some music-based levels. The release date for Rayman Legends has been announced for September 3rd of this year.

Rayman Legends was originally announced at Ubisoft’s E3 conference last year as a launch title exclusively for the Wii U. The game was then pushed back into late February and then again in September, where it has now turned into a multi-platform title also coming to the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and the PlayStation Vita.

Though Rayman Legends was delayed due to the loss of its original Wii U exclusivity, the Wii U version still retains its use of the GamePad. Plus, the developers made up for it by releasing a special Rayman Legends Challenge App, which you can get for free on the Wii U eShop right now.
