Zombie games are a dime in a dozen nowadays. It seems like everywhere you look another game with zombies appears. With so many games out there, how do you distinguish one from the other? The answer is pretty easy actually, just add the demented mind of Suda 51 and a cheerleader whose favorite food is Lollipops.
Lollipop Chainsaw is the newest game from Grasshopper Manufacturing, the company that brought you such cult classics as Killer 7 and No More Heroes. While the game features a familiar premise of a zombie outbreak, the involvement of Suda 51 all but guarentees it will be anything but ordinary.
Lollipop Chainsaw is a hack ‘n’ slash game about Juliet Starling, a cheerleader with a bubbly attitude, hot body, and who comes from a family of zombie hunters. She is accompanied by the disembodied head of her boyfriend Nick of which she carries upon her hip. The goth nerd Swan, caused a zombie outbreak and now it is up to Juliet to clean up the mess. The bosses consist of various music genre themes such as a punk rock, viking metal, funk, and psychodelic. If that sounds ordinary than you need a lobotamy.
