Dark Souls

With Dark Souls II being the talk of the town, we can’t forget about the original Dark Souls that easily. For those who haven’t picked up the game yet, you’re in luck! Both the PlayStation 3 & Xbox 360 versions of Dark Souls are on sale at Amazon. (Excluding the PC version)

What was 19.99$ is now offered at an even lower price of 11.99$, again — for both console versions.

While there are those who wish to distance themselves from the Soul series because of its reputation, please hear me out; it’s fully worth playing and experiencing for yourself. They may be challenging, and don’t necessarily have the best tutorial or guides for the more obscure mechanics, but they’re fair and the game encourages you to heed others who can help you with summoning or from online forums/guides/community who would love to help you on the way. There are a ton of secrets such as shortcuts and well-hidden equipment waiting to be discovered in its many masterfully designed levels with a high dosage of detail and craftsmanship that could just make you gaze at the view for minutes.

Dark Souls offers a deep and beautiful world to explore, with some of the best action role-playing mechanics around; believe me when I say that you won’t regret giving it a chance. The amazing gameplay is just the tip of the iceberg. It’s made even better with an incredible and deep lore behind its visage. It also has an amazing DLC add-on to boot, extending this great game even further!
