Crunchyroll announced yesterday that their application is now available in the PlayStation Store for free! You can now stream anime simulcast in Japan, or check out older series that you may have missed. Premium Crunchyroll members have access to everything offered on the website, while first-time users can watch the first episode of different simulcasts to check out the service. You can also get a free 30-day trial if you register for Crunchyroll directly through your PlayStation 3.

The Crunchyroll application is currently available to the United States and Canada only, but it will soon be coming to other countries as well. 720p and 1080p options will be added in a future update.

  2. Head to New Releases
  3. Download it for free!
