Collector’s Case Update Feed

Saturday, August 3rd 2013: The day you’ve all been waiting for, They’ve shipped!

Collector Cases Shipped

Please note that it should take about 1-2 weeks to receive them if you’re within the US. For those outside the US give it (guessing here) a month.  The important part is that they’re sent and are completely out of our hands now.

For any contest winners looking for their cases, I’ll probably send those Monday, it was very important for me to get them out to those who donated first so I hope you understand.

As for those who want to donate for a case, we’ll open up the donations on Wednesday, August 7th.  There’s going to be a limited supply but should ultimately be enough to go around.  We’ll explain more as the time comes.

Monday, July 15th 2013: The mailing labels for the hundreds who donated have all been printed, but we’re working on getting a bulk mail permit in order to significantly lower postage cost for us. We’ll keep you updated.

Wednesday, June 19th 2013: They’re here, pop some champagne because they do exist! Click here for more details!

Sunday, June 9th, 2013: Great news everybody. We fully expect to start shipping the cases to those that ordered them, this month! We will have an update for you sometime shortly after E3 and we will include pictures of the cases before we ship them. We know the long wait is not excusable, and we are truly sorry. We also know we are asking a lot, but wait just a little longer, and you’ll get the cases you donated for a year ago. We’re considering ways to make up for the long wait, such as maybe a raffle for those that donated and have been waiting. We’ll have more on that later, but for now, we’re just going to focus on getting those cases out to you all.

Also as a reminder, if you want a refund on your donation, you can request one at anytime. Just use our “Contact Us” form and include your name and Paypal address so your donated funds will be returned to you.

Monday, April 1, 2013: I thought I’d give you all an update since it has been a month since the last. Nothing new to report unfortunately. The shipment is on its way to one of our admins and we are waiting (impatiently) for them to arrive. We thought we would have them by now, but we’re confident we’ll have them soon. As soon as we do, we’ll let everybody know. Thanks.

Please come back to this page to see the latest updates with the collector’s cases.

Friday, March 1, 2013: We got our sample case in today. The final print will be coming very soon!

For those wondering about donating for a case now, we’re going to wait until we get a final count before we offer any extras. So for anybody who didn’t donate previously, we’ll inform you when or if they become available.

Thursday, January 31, 2013: We are negotiating a new printing deal on the cases. We’ve made a few alterations to the original case design to meet requirements of the new printer, and we anticipate shipping them to all who donated during the original campaign sometime during the month of February. Please bear with us as we continue to get this all sorted out and we sincerely apologize for the delay.

Wednesday, January 16, 2013: XSEED Games has announced that they will be publishing Pandora’s Tower in North America, and the game will be released for the Wii console Spring 2013. Oprainfall is still in the process of having the collector’s cases reprinted, and we will post further updates as soon as they are available.

Monday, January 7, 2013: The printer has issued a refund check for our order. We are going to have the cases reprinted. We have kept the PayPal donation option open for those that enjoy the content of the website and wish to contribute, however, we will no longer be offering collector’s cases for future donations. Only those that donated on or before January 7, 2013 will receive the collector’s case as a gift.

Wednesday, December 27, 2012: The shipping company issued a refund check to the printer. The printer is currently closed for the holidays until after New Year’s Day.

Tuesday, December 17, 2012: The shipping company has issued a refund check. We must now wait 3-5 days. Once the money arrives we will send it to the printer and restart the order.

Thursday, December 6, 2012: The shipping company notified us that the documents have been received. An investigation will follow, which takes 7-10 business days.

Wednesday, December 5, 2012: Additional information has been requested from the shipping company, followed by an investigation. Once they receive the documentation, the investigation could take 7-10 business days.

Tuesday, December 4, 2012: No new updates. Awaiting a response regarding our shipping claim.

Monday, December 3, 2012: Cases are insured. Claim filed with shipping company. Oprainfall offers a full refund to anyone that donated. To request a refund, please send us an email using our contact form. Please include your name, contact email address, and PayPal information (PayPal email used to make the donation & name on PayPal account). It will also be helpful if you can locate the transaction number. Those who are granted a refund will not be sent a Collector’s Case.
