Good news, indie game fans. Today, indie developer Pwnee Studios has successfully reached its funding goal of $20,000 for Cloudberry Kingdom using Kickstarter. It was not too long ago that Class of Heroes II had missed the mark, so it is nice to see some small projects successfully complete the campaign.

Cloudberry Kingdom is a sidescrolling game that utilizes a sophisticated engine that allows you to create your own level difficulty. The kickstarter had originally been funded because Pwnee Studios spent most of its resources on the engine, and needed a little extra push for the art and music.  The beta is now available on Steam. The game will be releasing later this year for PC and Nintendo’s WiiU.
