Bear & Rabbit Studios and 505 Games released the newest trailer for their Kickstarter project Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes at the Tokyo Game Show 2022, showcasing character Nowa, “a brash guard who throws himself into war,” voiced by Gakuto Kajiwara; and Seign, “an imperial officer in pursuit of his vision,” voiced by Kenji Akabane. The TGS 2022 trailer also shows off some more combat and exploration, as well as a bombastic theme from composers Motoi Sakuraba (Star Ocean and Tales of series) and Michiko Naruke (Wild ARMs series). Other notable creators include game design and scenario writer Yoshitaka Murayama, creator of Suikoden; character designer Junko Kawano (Suikoden I, Suikoden IV, Shadow of Destiny, Arcalast); director Osamu Komuta (Suikoden Tierkreis, Suikoden Tactics, Arcalast); and producer and art director Junichi Murakami (Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, The Sword of Etheria, Hero Bank).

From the Steam page:

Our story begins in one corner of Allraan, a tapestry of nations with diverse cultures and values.

By dint of sword, and by way of magical objects known as “rune-lenses,” the land’s history has been shaped by the alliances and aggressions of the humans, beastmen, elves, and desert people who live there.

The Galdean Empire has edged out other nations and discovered a technology that amplifies the rune-lenses’ magic.

Now, the Empire is scouring the continent for an artifact that will expand their power even further.

It is on one such expedition that Seign Kesling, a young and gifted imperial officer, and Nowa, a boy from a remote village, meet each other and become friends.

Eiyuden Chronicle will release on 2023 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.
